Job Description
Location: Velachery, Valasaravakkam, Chennai

We are looking for a skilled Site Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects on-site. The Site Engineer will ensure that projects are executed according to design specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:-
Supervise on-site construction activities and ensure work aligns with project plans and specifications.

Monitor daily progress and maintain accurate site records, including reports, work logs, and material usage.

Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.

Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess work quality and progress.

Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for smooth project execution.

Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, site staff, and workers.

Report project status, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction projects.

Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or other construction software.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
