Job Description:
Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Site Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering, eager to gain hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
Site Management: Assist in overseeing daily operations at construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to monitor work progress and quality of workmanship, addressing any issues promptly to maintain high standards.
Technical Support: Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to interpret plans, drawings, and specifications, providing technical assistance as required.
Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including progress reports, site diaries, and as-built drawings, for future reference and auditing purposes.
Problem-Solving: Identify challenges or obstacles on-site and propose effective solutions to overcome them, keeping projects on track and within budget.
Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, promoting a culture of safety among workers and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in a similar role is not mandatory.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license may be required (optional).
