Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. On-Site Supervision
-
Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring work progresses according to approved plans and schedules.

Supervise site labor and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
-
Monitor progress and quality of work against detailed design drawings and specifications.
-
Ensure resources such as manpower, machinery, and materials are effectively utilized.
2. Technical Implementation
-
Interpret construction drawings and engineering plans, and guide site activities accordingly.
-
Assist in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS), layout markings, and quantity take-offs.
-
Coordinate and conduct on-site tests and inspections to verify construction quality.
-
Resolve technical issues on-site in consultation with senior engineers and consultants.
3. Project Coordination
-
Coordinate between project stakeholders, including consultants, vendors, suppliers, and internal departments.

Participate in project meetings, site coordination meetings, and safety briefings.
-
Support in documenting site activities, changes, and variations in work progress.

Communicate effectively with the design team to ensure that project specifications are correctly implemented.
4. Quality Control and Assurance

Enforce quality control standards throughout the construction process.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions.

Verify that construction materials meet required specifications and are stored properly.

Keep detailed records of site inspections, quality tests, and approvals.
5. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance
-
Ensure full compliance with workplace safety regulations and environmental standards.

Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks to educate workers about site hazards and preventive measures.

Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all site workers and visitors.
-
Report and investigate any on-site incidents, near-misses, or safety violations promptly.
6. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain daily site records, work logs, and progress reports.
-
Prepare and submit site reports, quality records, and handover documentation to supervisors and clients.
-
Support the billing team by providing measurements and work done quantities for invoicing.

Track project milestones and assist in preparing project status presentations.
