Job Description
Interpret and execute interior design drawings and technical specifications.
Coordinate with designers, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor and ensure adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Resolve technical and execution issues on-site efficiently.
Conduct regular inspections and ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
Prepare and maintain site reports, work progress logs, and documentation.
Validate quality and quantity of materials delivered on-site.
Provide feedback and suggestions for design or material improvements where necessary.
Attend project meetings and report project status to project managers and design heads.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Execution & Supervision
-
Supervise construction work at the site as per the approved drawings, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and specifications.

Ensure work progress is as per the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.

Coordinate daily with labor contractors and subcontractors to ensure productivity and timely completion.
2. Project Planning & Coordination
-
Assist in preparing work schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and senior management regarding technical queries and modifications.

Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and site readiness.
3. Quality Control & Compliance
-
Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship on-site.

Ensure all activities conform to design standards, specifications, safety norms, and regulatory codes.

Report any non-conformances and suggest corrective measures.
4. Drawing Interpretation & Technical Support
-
Read and interpret structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical drawings.

Provide on-site technical support to contractors, masons, carpenters, electricians, and other tradesmen.

Assist in resolving technical issues and clarifying doubts during execution.
5. Measurement & Documentation
-
Conduct quantity take-offs, measurements, and site progress tracking.

Maintain site logs, daily progress reports (DPR), material records, and labor deployment registers.

Assist in preparing client bills, subcontractor bills, and material reconciliation.
6. Safety & Site Discipline
-
Ensure all on-site personnel comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.

Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and implement safety protocols.
-
Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and proper signage at the site.
7. Reporting & Communication
-
Provide regular updates to the Project Manager or Senior Engineer on work progress, delays, and resource needs.

Highlight bottlenecks, risks, or technical challenges and suggest practical solutions.

Ensure effective coordination between client representatives, consultants, and internal teams.
