Job Title: Site Engineer
Job Location: Majestic, Bengaluru.
Job Description: As a Site Engineer at Ishwarya Constructions, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of construction projects on-site. You will collaborate closely and report to the Founder and the Co-Founder on a daily basis to ensure the successful completion of projects providing top-notch quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Management: Manage day-to-day activities on construction sites, including coordinating with vendors, laborers and employees of different departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor work progress and quality of construction to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and solutions to resolve construction-related challenges, including interpreting drawings, resolving design issues, and implementing changes as necessary.
- Resource Management: Coordinate the allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to optimize efficiency and productivity on-site.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily progress reports, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
- Client Relations: Participate in meetings with clients, and regulatory agencies to address project requirements and concerns.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience - 1+ to 3 years.
Good communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and practices.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) is preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA certification) is a plus.
