Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to oversee on-site operations, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and manage project execution from planning to completion. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain safety, quality, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys, inspections, and assessments to monitor progress and identify issues.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Coordinate with teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure adherence to safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards).
- Manage resources, including equipment and labor, to optimize efficiency.
- Document daily activities, maintain logs, and prepare progress reports.
- Collaborate on quality control and risk management strategies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and surveying tools; knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively; experience with quality control and risk assessment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and data interpretation for site assessments and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for coordinating with teams, preparing reports, and liaising with stakeholders.
- Safety and Compliance Skills: In-depth understanding of workplace safety standards and the ability to implement them on-site.
- Adaptability Skills: Capacity to work in dynamic, outdoor environments and handle unexpected challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in site engineering, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
- Certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer) or PMP are a plus.
