Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Supervision & Execution
-
Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure timely execution of work.
-
Ensure construction work is carried out as per structural and architectural drawings.
-
Monitor site labor, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure discipline and productivity.
2. Technical Oversight
-
Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-
Conduct layout, leveling, and surveying as required.
-
Supervise concreting, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, and finishing works (for civil engineers).
-
For MEP engineers: supervise installation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems.
3. Planning & Coordination
-
Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and suppliers.
-
Plan and manage daily work schedules and manpower deployment.
-
Report site progress, delays, or issues to the Project Manager.
4. Quality Assurance & Safety
-
Conduct quality checks and inspections of materials and workmanship.
-
Ensure that all work follows safety protocols and site safety standards.
-
Maintain proper housekeeping and safety gear compliance on site.
5. Measurement & Documentation
-
Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), material consumption logs, and stock registers.
-
Assist in preparing bills, measurements, and contractor payment certifications.
-
Keep track of materials received, used, and balance at the site.
6. Project Handover & Closure
-
Participate in final snagging and de-snagging processes.
-
Assist in preparing site handover documents, test reports, and compliance checklists.
