Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Supervisor at livInfra in Lucknow. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. They will also be responsible for managing and supervising construction workers and subcontractors, as well as implementing safety protocols and quality control measures.

- Certification or degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Key Responsibilities:
1. On-site Supervision

Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities including excavation, concreting, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, and finishing works.

Monitor site labor and subcontractors to ensure that work is executed as per the project plan and schedule.

Assign tasks to workers based on priorities and capabilities.
2. Coordination with Project Teams
-
Coordinate closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure alignment with project designs and requirements.

Attend site meetings and report progress, bottlenecks, or safety concerns to the Project Manager or Site Engineer.

Communicate instructions and project updates to site labor and team leaders.
3. Quality Assurance

Ensure that construction materials and workmanship adhere to quality standards and project specifications.

Conduct inspections of formwork, reinforcement, concreting, plastering, tiling, and painting.

Identify quality issues and rectify them promptly to avoid rework.
4. Material Management
-
Monitor the use of construction materials on-site to reduce wastage and theft.

Maintain daily records of materials received, used, and stock levels.

Raise material requisitions in advance to avoid delays in work.
5. Safety and Compliance
-
Ensure that all site activities are conducted in accordance with safety norms and government regulations.

Conduct safety tool-box talks and ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel.

Report any incidents, near misses, or unsafe practices to the safety officer or management.
6. Workforce Management
-
Supervise a team of skilled and unskilled laborers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Track attendance, discipline, and productivity of laborers on-site.

Resolve conflicts or issues between workers and escalate serious matters to HR or site management.
7. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain daily site reports (DPR), attendance registers, material logs, and labor deployment sheets.

Provide weekly and monthly progress updates to the management team.

Capture photographic evidence of work progress and quality.
8. Time and Resource Optimization

Ensure that construction milestones are achieved on time by planning labor and resource deployment.

Minimize idle time and increase workforce productivity.

Coordinate work sequences to optimize efficiency and workflow.
