Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a competent and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are executed safely, on time, and in accordance with specifications and quality standards. The Site Supervisor will be the on-ground leader, responsible for managing labor, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and reporting progress to project managers.
This role requires hands-on experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.Key Responsibilities:

Site Execution and Supervision:

Supervise day-to-day site operations ensuring all work is performed according to project drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Coordinate activities of laborers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.

Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with standards and rectify any deviations promptly.

Labor Management:

Manage on-site workforce by assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Address workforce issues, maintain discipline, and motivate labor for maximum efficiency.

Keep records of daily manpower attendance and labor performance.

Planning and Coordination:

Assist in planning daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules in line with project timelines.

Coordinate with engineers, architects, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.

Identify potential issues that may delay work and communicate these promptly to the project manager.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Conduct regular site safety inspections and toolbox talks.

Report and investigate accidents or near-misses and implement corrective actions.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain daily site logs documenting work progress, weather conditions, materials used, and workforce deployment.

Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and submit to project managers.

Keep updated records of site activities and share relevant information with stakeholders.

Quality Control:

Monitor construction work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards.

Conduct inspections at various stages of work and ensure corrective actions are taken as necessary.

Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure material testing and workmanship standards are maintained.

Oversee proper storage and handling of construction materials.

Monitor material consumption and report shortages to procurement or project management.

Ensure minimal wastage of materials through effective supervision.
