1. Name of the Post: Dean, Subject Matter Faculties
2. No of Post: 03
3. Pay Level-14 (Rs.144200-218200) UGC Scale
4. Essential: Doctorate degree in any discipline/ subject of the concerned faculty. 15 years' experience of Teaching/ Research and /or Extension of which at least 05 years should be in the rank of Professor/Chief Scientist or equivalent in an Agricultural University or Research Institute (The period spent in obtaining Ph. D. degree will not be counted as teaching/ research and/ or extension experience).
5. Desirable: Evidence of Leadership & outstanding achievements in teaching & organizing teaching. Good knowledge of modern agricultural educational system.

Essential: Doctorate degree in any discipline/ subject in Agriculture or allied sciences; and 15 years' experience of Teaching/ Research and/or Extension of which at least 05 years should be in the rank of Professor/Chief Scientist or equivalent in an Agricultural University or Research Institute (The period spent in obtaining Ph. D. degree will not be counted as teaching/ research and/ or extension experience).
5. Desirable: Evidence of Leadership & outstanding achievements in teaching & organizing teaching; Good knowledge of modern agricultural educational system; and Basic and postgraduate degree in the concerned discipline/subject in Agriculture or allied sciences.
Age Limit:
Not less than 20 years and more than 55 years as on 01-01-2021. The relaxation in upper age can be granted in terms of provisions specified under SKUAST-Statutes.
Application Fees:
The requisite fee of Rs.2000 (Rupees two thousand only) can be deposited through electronic mode or in shape of Bank Draft in favour of Comptroller SKUAST-Jammu, payable at Jammu.
