Job Description
Applications for engagement of Deputy Directors purely on contractual basis under Central Sponsored Scheme Sub-Mission on Agricultural Extension (SMAE) in SAMETI, Jammu (SKAUST, Jammu) from interested eligible candidates are hereby invited afresh, due to poor response to the advertisement notice issued by the Director SAMETI Jammu vide No. SAMETIJ/SEWP-03/2021-22/14 dated 15-04-2021.
The terms and conditions, eligibility criteria, age, qualification and detail of number of posts is as under:-
1. Post Name: Deputy Director
2. No. of Post: 03
3. Department: Agriculture/Agriculture Extension Management (01), Agriculture Allied preferably Animal veterinary sciences ( 01) and Human Resource Development/Information Technology and Marketing (01)
4. Desired Qualification: P.G. in Agriculture & allied fields, P.G in Animal Husbandry , Sheep Husbandry etc, Post Graduation in IT or Marketing or HRD or any relevant field.
5. Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in the Scale of Rs 15600-39100- 5400 ( As per 6th CPC) In case of Contractual Deputy Directors as an interim measure, an experience of 6 years as a faculty member in the respective field from a reputed organization/ institution (to the satisfaction of the State Government)
6. Remuneration: Pay level 11 (67700- 208700) or old scale as per 6th CPC (15600- 39100+ 6600GP or Lump sum
7. Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should be domicile of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, The candidate must have relevant qualification as mentioned above, The candidates must have an experience of working in Government /semi Government organization in relevant field and shall be preferred, Preference shall be given to candidates having PGDAEM and knowledge of IT.
Age Limit:
The age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years and not more than 65 years as on 01-04-2021
