Junior Scientist /Assistant Professor/Subject Matter Specialist Job position in Sher-e-Kashmir Univeristy of Agricultural Sciences and Techonology of Kashmir (SKUAST)

Junior Scientist /Assistant Professor 

Essential Qualification : i) Master's degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in OGPA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the concerned subject fi) Ph. D degree (with course work) in concerned subject as prescribed by the UGC(MSP)2009 Regulations. Ph.D relaxable for candidates holding M.Tech degree in Process Engineering along with one publication in NAAS rated referred Journal and NET. iii) NET or at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating of not less than 4, on the last date of submission of application. OR II i) Master's degree with 55% marks or equivalent grade in OGPA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the concerned subject ii) Ph.D degree (without course work) in the concerned subject for candidates having completed their Ph.D prior to implementation of UGC (MSP) 2009 Regulation. iii) NET. Note : Essential qualification at graduation level: B.Sc. Agriculture/BSc Bio. Science for the postion at III (1). B.E/B Tech(Agri. Engineering) for the postion at III (2)

Essential Qualification : i) Masters degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in OGPA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the concerned subject ii) Ph. D degree (with course work) in concerned subject as prescribed by the UGC(MSP)-2009 Regulations (Ph. D relaxable for candidates holding Post-graduate Degree in Veterinary Sciences, along with one publication in NAAS rated referred Journal and NET). iii) NET or at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating of not less than 4, on the last date of submission of application OR i) Master's degree with 55% marks or equivalent grade in OGPA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the concerned subject iv) Ph.D degree (without course work) in the concerned subject for candidates having completed their Ph.D prior to implementation of UGC (MSP) 2009 Regulation. NET  Note: Requirement of essential qualification of Ph.D degree in concerned subject relaxable for the candidates who are the permanent residents of Ladakh for direct appointment (by selection) to the post earmarked for the Institute/Station. in Leh/Kargil, Ladakh. However, such candidate(s) shall have to acquire Ph.D degree within seven years from the date of appointment, if selected. For such candidates, Masters Degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent OGPA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the concerned subject with NET alongwith one publication in NAAS rated referred is essential. In case the candidate fails to complete the Ph.D degree within the period prescribed above, future increments beyond 07 years shall be stopped.  The relaxation will not apply to the candidates from other districts posted in Leh/Kargil districts of Ladakh Region
