Role Overview:
As an SMO Intern, you’ll play a key role in managing and optimizing our social media channels to increase visibility, engagement, and brand awareness. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with real-world social media marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing SMO strategies across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
Optimize social media profiles and content for visibility and engagement
Monitor social media trends and competitor activity
Create and schedule engaging posts using tools like Canva, Buffer, or Hootsuite
Analyze performance metrics and generate weekly/monthly reports
Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams for campaign execution
Respond to comments and engage with the audience in line with brand tone
Skills & Requirements:

Passion for social media and current digital trends.

Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.

Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or any design tool is a plus.

Understanding of hashtags, reach, impressions, engagement rate, etc.

Good written communication skills in English (and local language, if needed).

Proactive, creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
