An SMO - Social Media Optimization Executive is responsible for managing and enhancing a brand’s presence across various social media platforms. The role involves content creation, audience engagement, analytics tracking, and social media strategy implementation to drive online visibility and engagement.
The ideal candidate should have a creative mindset, strong knowledge of social media trends, and the ability to optimize content for better reach and engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management
- Handle company profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Plan and execute daily posts, stories, and reels with engaging content.
- Optimize content using hashtags, keywords, and trending topics.

Content Strategy & Optimization
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility.
- Create SEO-friendly captions, graphics, and videos to boost engagement.
- Schedule and manage posts using social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).

Engagement & Community Building
- Respond to comments, messages, and queries to maintain active engagement.
- Interact with followers, influencers, and customers to build a strong community.
- Organize contests, giveaways, and campaigns to boost audience interaction.

Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor social media insights and analytics to track post-performance.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports to measure engagement, reach, and conversions.
- Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

Paid Promotions & Advertising
- Run Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and LinkedIn Ads for brand promotion.
- Optimize paid campaigns for maximum ROI and audience reach.

- Stay updated with the latest social media trends and algorithm changes.
- Research competitors' strategies and suggest new engagement tactics.
- Innovate with viral content, meme marketing, and influencer collaborations.
