Job Description
- Developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Creating and scheduling content across various platforms, ensuring it aligns with marketing goals.
- Monitoring social media channels for feedback and engagement, responding to comments and messages promptly.
- Analyzing performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- This role is crucial for establishing a strong digital presence and driving marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Planning and Strategy

Develop and implement a monthly content calendar aligned with marketing objectives, seasonal campaigns, and audience interests.

Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to plan content themes, promotions, and brand stories.

Research trending topics, hashtags, and competitor activity to stay current and relevant.
2. Content Creation and Publishing

Write engaging and error-free captions, taglines, and post content tailored for each platform (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.).

Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, or video editors to produce visually appealing posts, reels, stories, carousels, and short videos.

Post or schedule content across platforms using social media management tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite.
3. Community Management

Monitor and respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms.

Engage with followers, influencers, and relevant pages to build brand community and loyalty.

Flag and escalate any negative feedback, brand mentions, or PR issues to the manager.
4. Campaign Execution

Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns, influencer collaborations, contests, and paid promotions.

Coordinate giveaways, brand tie-ups, and user-generated content drives.

Track campaign effectiveness and optimize strategy in real-time when required.
5. Analytics and Reporting

Track key social media metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, and clicks.

Generate weekly/monthly performance reports using tools like Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Twitter Analytics, or third-party dashboards.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations for content improvement and audience growth.
6. Platform Management

Stay updated on algorithm changes, new features (e.g., Threads, Reels, Stories), and best practices across platforms.

Manage platform-specific nuances like hashtags, formats, and content style for each channel.

Maintain consistency in brand tone, messaging, and aesthetics across all platforms.
7. Collaboration and Coordination

Work with internal departments (product, HR, customer service) to gather information for posts and coordinate timely content.
