Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social media, digital marketing, content creation, and community engagement. As a Social Media Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our online presence, helping to build our brand, and engaging with our digital community.
You will gain hands-on experience working on social media strategies, assisting with campaigns, and creating engaging content across various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, TikTok, and others. This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to real-world projects that align with current digital marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation and Scheduling

Assist in the creation, editing, and publishing of engaging content (text, image, and video) for daily posts across multiple social media platforms.

Use design tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or Photoshop to create graphics and visual content.

Research relevant trends, topics, hashtags, and competitor content to inform content development.

Draft captions that align with brand voice and tone.

Schedule posts using social media management tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or Meta Business Suite.
2. Community Management

Monitor all social media channels for comments, messages, mentions, and trends.

Engage with followers by responding to questions, comments, and DMs in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.

Help grow our online community by following relevant accounts, joining conversations, and identifying new engagement opportunities.
3. Analytics and Reporting

Track engagement metrics such as likes, shares, comments, followers, and reach.

Generate weekly and monthly performance reports using platforms like Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, and Google Analytics.

Assist in evaluating the success of campaigns and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Present insights and learnings to the marketing team with recommendations for future content or campaigns.
4. Campaign Support

Support the execution of paid and organic social media campaigns, contests, and influencer partnerships.

Contribute to brainstorming sessions and help develop creative ideas for campaigns, challenges, and collaborations.

Assist in influencer research, outreach, and coordination when applicable.
5. Research and Trend Monitoring

Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, tools, and best practices.

Monitor competitor activity and emerging industry standards.

Share new ideas and platforms that could enhance the organization’s social media strategy.
