Who we’re looking for:

• We are looking for a highly motivated, marketing-savvy, resourceful, and creative intern to provide support on everything from drafting compelling blog articles to creating engaging social media campaigns. 
  
• The ideal candidate is organized and detail-oriented, passionate about social media (teetering obsession) and all things travel. 
  
• This candidate will have a good eye for what performs well on social media and is interested in making content exclusively for social. 
  
• We're looking for a self-starter with excellent judgment and communication skills who would be comfortable working on a variety of platforms. 
  
• Previous experience with community management, copywriting, social media strategy, influencer marketing, or digital marketing is highly valued.
  
• This unpaid internship is remote and includes the opportunity to travel with us and to join our team full-time as a paid social media strategist, based on performance.
  

Responsibilities:

Depending on skills and interests, intern may be expected to:

• Generate content for all social platforms, including cross-platform content strategies
• Regularly schedule posts across all platforms (especially Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn)
• Research digital trends
• Assist in planning, organizing, and producing content (videos, photography, blog posts, and more)
• Track and analyze our data and performance
• Research influencers for an influencer marketing campaign (sometimes this just means binge-watching YouTube videos)
• Attend local events as a No Desk Project representative
• Collaborate and communicate with a remote team to achieve social strategy goals; bring fresh and creative ideas to the table; inform team of frames and formats that are performing well
• Help maintain the cheery and collaborative No Desk Project culture with a positive attitude and obsession with the things people are sharing, liking, recommending and talking about on the internet

Requirements:

• Candidates with a degree (or pursuing) in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, or relevant field preferred
• Experience working with social media platforms, including creating content that drives engagement
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to commit 15-20 hours every week
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and consistently meet deadlines
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Experience conducting social media reports using platform insights and Google Analytics preferred
• Basic understanding of production concepts including the ability to shoot and edit video is a plus
• A sense of humor (mandatory)
