Qualifications:

• Qualified at degree level or a similar field.
  
• A minimum of more than 3 and favorably 4 years’ experience in software development in a commercial environment is required.
  
• The experience of a broad range of software development tools is an advantage.
  

Job Function

• Application Development: The application developer will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining and supporting web applications to existing clients and work on new projects assigned to the senior developer. These include requirement specifications, analysis, designing, coding and testing the website or web application before final client delivery.
  
• Maintenance: Responsibilities include ongoing maintenance of existing web applications associated with intranet, extranet and websites.
  
• Application & Project Management: The candidate must be able to adhere to defined company policies for development and support programming methodologies and standards. The candidate should be comfortable working in a team or even single-handedly depending on project requirements.
  
• Communicating with clients and company representatives in other time zones also requires flexibility regarding working hours.
  
• Works with the team manager and other Project Leads to co-ordinate and balance resources and priorities to achieve local team deliverables.
