Job Description
Designation: Software Developer Intern
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Radio Access Network (RAN) architecture and functions
2. Get familiar with open source 5G RAN SW platform
3. Work with our team to Identify limitations of open-source SW platform capabilities and the scope for additional feature development or capability enhancement
4. Develop C/C++ code for the identified feature(s) on top of the open-source SW platform
5. Integrate the code with the open-source platform and test
6. Debug and fix the issues found during testing
7. Document work item details carried out during the study and development phase

Other requirements
1. Strong academic background with emphasis on principles of wireless communication and radio frequency fundamentals is required.
2. Understanding of digital baseband system and digital signal processing techniques for cellular protocol is essential
3. Knowledge of radio layer terminologies and specifications defined in 3GPP wireless standards is an added credential
4. Familiarity with MATLAB simulation using communication toolbox is a plus
5. Experience with C, C++ and Python programming language is required
6. Experience with Linux OS is required
7. Ability to quickly learn Qualcomm Modem-RF platform software integration for cellular technologies is essential
8. Master's degree in digital communication/wireless communication/wireless networks
