Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
-
Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, etc.).

Develop software solutions using appropriate design patterns, frameworks, and tools.

Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Build front-end interfaces and/or back-end systems depending on the project requirements.
System Architecture and Design

Collaborate with architects and senior developers to design scalable and maintainable systems.

Translate business requirements and technical specifications into technical designs and implementation plans.

Ensure that the architecture supports security, performance, reliability, and scalability.
Testing and Quality Assurance

Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and perform code reviews.

Collaborate with QA team members to ensure software quality through automated and manual testing.

Debug and resolve software defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
Team Collaboration

Work as part of an Agile or Scrum development team to deliver project goals in sprints or iterations.

Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team ceremonies.

Communicate technical concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.
Version Control and Documentation

Use version control systems like Git for source code management.

Maintain clear and concise technical documentation, including API documentation, architecture diagrams, and user guides.

Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and internal documentation portals to support team learning and onboarding.
DevOps and Deployment

Participate in the deployment of applications using CI/CD pipelines.

Work with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and operation of software in various environments (development, staging, production).

Monitor application performance and resolve issues related to system outages or failures.
Continuous Learning and Innovation

Stay current with the latest trends, tools, frameworks, and best practices in software development.

Identify areas for improvement and contribute ideas for optimizing processes, tools, and workflows.

Experiment with new technologies to enhance the functionality and performance of our applications.
