Software Engineer Jobs in Delhi - SARK Insurance Services

SARK INSURANCE SERVICES, INC. is a boutique insurance firm that works with complex commercial insurance policies. We are expanding into the web environment, and we need software developers experienced in modern architecture to develop SARK's services.

We are looking for a team of software engineers who can operate in a full-stack environment to develop a suitable web product.

Duties:

- work in a full-stack team (front-end and back-end with optional DBA) to develop a website for SARK Insurance Services, INC. You will be assigned to one of three roles.

a) Front-End Developer/UX designer: designing the website and user experience, requires experience in HTML/CSS with JS, and allowed to use WebFlow or other design assistance

b) Back-End Developer: writing server code, and converting desktop apps to server apps, requires experience in C#, JS (TypeScript), ASP.NET Core, EF Core or Dapper, REST APIs

c) Database Analyst: writing SQL queries or optimizing data access, requires experience in SQL Server, Azure products + AWS products

- create a complete software product with UI/UX design, testing, support, server-based, and resilience built in

- rewrite existing software to be more usable

- talking to management to form product/software strategy for future SARK projects

Requirements:

- 2-4 years of industry experience in web-development, full-stack environment, particularly with financial or insurance based systems

- minimum experience in the following programming languages: C# (1 years), HTML/CSS (1 years), JS (1 year), SQL (6 months)

a) Front-End Developer: HTML/CSS (2 - 3 years), has own website as portfolio

b) Back-End Developer: C# (2 - 3 years), significant experience in ASP.NET Core and Azure Functions

c) DBA: T-SQL (1.5 years)

- Git/Github repo experience

- experience in CI/CD pipeline

Hardware

- minimum 100 GB of storage

- a computer that is capable of using the following systems simultaneously: Visual Studio, Slack, Git Desktop, and VS Code

Preferred

- DBA experience in SQL Server or Postgres SQL

- Docker or K8 experience

- significant experience in XAML-based desktop development

- strong artistic or creative skills
