Engagement & Project Overview PDP PES Directory Modernization - The application will stream provider data from various sources within UHG, aggregate and standardize it in canonical format, and make it available through APIs for provider directory search requests.

Primary Responsibilities

• Estimate the development and testing effort required to deliver the features
• Deliver high quality code which adheres to standards and best practices
• Perform code reviews for peers
• Interact with other team members to identify and manage dependencies
  
  

Required Qualifications

• At least 2-4 years of over-all development experience
• At least 2 years of development experience in Java
• At least 2 years of experience in developing Java REST services using Spring MVC or Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience of using or implementing CICD pipelines
• Experience of working on search engine or NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch or Solr
• Experience of working in agile model
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience of cloud technologies
• Knowledge or experience of cloud Kafka
• Exposure to CMMi standards and processes
• Good knowledge on Provider LOB
• US Healthcare background
