Job Description
Software Engineer
Job description:
Development and maintenance of PDKs with a focus on Device libraries-
Device library components (symbol, callback, CDF, netlist, layout cell, virtuoso tech files) and their architecture-
Tech file updates for abstract and in Novus enablement-
Layout/schematic migration scripts
Develop complex programmable layout generators and Pcells using EDA tools (Cadence skill/python programming)
Development and maintenance of component tests
Work closely with the foundry, technology department, and designers to align specifications
Work closely with project managers and share development and QA status during releases
Discover and communicate problems with the EDA vendors (about tool limitations and bugs)
Proactive communication and alignment of possible solutions with all affected colleagues from the design/CAD groups/PDK teams
Autonomous development of PDK QA test cases and monitoring results using test infrastructure
Qualification: B Tech
Skills: UNIX Shell Script
