Role Description

This is a full-time remote role(3-4 months) for an Intern at Yali CyberShield a Vancouver, BC, based company. The intern will be involved in day-to-day tasks such as the development and deployment of cybersecurity application, participating in research projects, and contributing to the creation of technical documentation. The role will offer hands-on experience in leveraging GenAI and ThreatGPT technologies for security management.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Cybersecurity principles and practices
• Research and Analytical skills
• Technical Writing and Documentation skills
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, MERN technology stack
• Strong experience in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js
• Writing secure RESTful APIs with Express.js
• Working with MongoDB (Mongoose ORM, aggregation, indexing)
• Experience with React.js, Redux, Material UI, TailwindCSS
• Ability to build interactive dashboards for compliance & risk monitoring
• Experience integrating GPT API
• Understanding of vector databases
• NLP techniques for text classification and compliance document analysis
• Experience deploying MERN apps on Vercel, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of API security best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude
