Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role(3-4 months) for an Intern at Yali CyberShield a Vancouver, BC, based company. The intern will be involved in day-to-day tasks such as the development and deployment of cybersecurity application, participating in research projects, and contributing to the creation of technical documentation. The role will offer hands-on experience in leveraging GenAI and ThreatGPT technologies for security management.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Cybersecurity principles and practices
- Research and Analytical skills
- Technical Writing and Documentation skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, MERN technology stack
- Strong experience in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js
- Writing secure RESTful APIs with Express.js
- Working with MongoDB (Mongoose ORM, aggregation, indexing)
- Experience with React.js, Redux, Material UI, TailwindCSS
- Ability to build interactive dashboards for compliance & risk monitoring
- Experience integrating GPT API
- Understanding of vector databases
- NLP techniques for text classification and compliance document analysis
- Experience deploying MERN apps on Vercel, AWS, or Azure
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of API security best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude
