C1X Inc. is a fast growing, series B funded ad tech company with headquarters in San Jose, US, and offices worldwide. Our mission is to simplify, and innovate the process of buying, selling and delivering digital ads. We are looking for a Software Engineer - Quality Analysis to develop and execute exploratory tests as well as regression tests in order to ensure product quality.
QA engineer responsibilities include estimating, planning, and coordinating testing activities. You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing and End-to-End testing on each release
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of proven working experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile/ Scrum development process
- Should be able to work independently or as a team with minimum guidance Benefits
