About You
Required Technical Skills:
- In this role, you will be expected to take up system test engineer responsibility of Rubrik Polaris SaaS product platform, its cloud/hybrid applications which may extend to Rubrik Cloud Data Management Product.- In this role, you will be expected to work on stress testing, scalability testing and chaos testing of Rubrik products.
- Come up with Project/Feature system test strategy, test plans, resource planning and execution strategy.
- Work closely with software engineers, system test engineers, product managers, test infra team from the beginning of the development/test cycle and be an integral part of the Agile engineering team.
- Develop maintainable test automation tools, and automated test suites, in response to the growing feature set and customer requirements.
- Anticipate future technology needs and business requirements to drive new technological approaches and tools.
- Along with automation, create expertise in assigned platform component, product or feature area.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in testing distributed backend software architectures/systems with a minimum 2 years of experience in SaaS product.
- 3+ years of work experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications.
- Experience working in Data protection / Storage domain is a plus.
- Expertise in programming using Python and/or other scripting languages.
- Experience with one or more public cloud is expected. GCP is a huge plus.
- Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers.
- Comfortable with build processes, CI processes and managing QA Environments as well as working with build management tools like Git, Jenkins.
- Experience of performance and scalability testing tools.
- Excellent knowledge of Cloud Platforms and Containerization technologies.
- Good working knowledge of relational databases, logging and monitoring frameworks is expected.
- Experience with NoSQL technologies is a plus.
- Experience with Chaos Engineering is a plus.
