This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

Essential:

Excellent in Core Java with knowledge of Java 1.8 features and above
Hands on experience in Java, JEE, Spring, Linux/Unix, Mule, Oracle Database, React JS, micro services, Cloud/Virtualization, API Development,
Hands-on experience in RESTful web services
Hands-on experience in Mule development
Developing quality code, Writing Junit test cases
Good exposure to backend and UI development
Experience in working with Messaging Systems such as WebSphere MQ using JMS
Application Monitoring / Log Management tools such as Splunk or Geneos Monitoring Tool
Multi-threaded Programming and Transaction Handling (JMS, Database)
Hands-on experience & Knowledge on Git and/or Bitbucket Source code control software
Hands-on experience & Knowledge on JIRA & continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
Experience in working with RDBMS applications (preferably Oracle)
Experience working on high throughput mission critical high performance platforms which have low error rates
Should have availability and flexibility to work collaboratively in a team
Write functional and technical requirements / mock up
Participation in code reviews and sharing of knowledge with other members of the team

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience in working with Service Orientated Architectures
Exposure to Agile Methodology & collaborating with other developers in an agile environment
Exposure to risk analysis and offering recommendations for risk containment
Know-how in Software installation, patch upgrade, data synchronization, system monitories, health checks and program release would be definitely a plus
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
