Software Tester Job in Futureva Technologies at Nungambakkam, Chennai

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented freshers to join our Software Testing team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through manual and automated testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand software requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.

• Perform manual testing, functional testing, and regression testing.

• Identify, document, and report software defects.

• Work with developers to resolve reported issues.

• Execute test cases and maintain test documentation.

• Learn and work with automation testing tools as required.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Understanding of manual testing concepts.

• Knowledge of test case design and bug life cycle.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.

• Familiarity with Selenium, Java, or API testing is an added advantage.

• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility:

• B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc., BCA, MCA, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.

• Freshers with a strong interest in software quality assurance can apply.
