Eligibility:
- BE/B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech (CSE, EEE, ECE, IT) from 2018 batch with 65% and above in throughout academics.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Software Test Engineer to join our world class product development efforts.
Strong technical background, a passion for quality, and a desire to make a positive change in our products.
What you will do:
As a part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for developing test plans and cases working with the test team.
Conduct tests to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability. As a software test engineer, you would need to execute engineering test cases and identify & document defects consistently and clearly such that defects can be reproduced by the development team. You would need to work with development as required to help reproduce issues and to ensure defects are understood and valid to ensure that the products that we ship out are of a very high quality.
You will drive new initiatives technically, propose improvements to existing ones. You will be a custodian of quality for deliverables from your team.
Desired Skills:
- Good knowledge of test engineering processes and procedures
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Executes engineering test cases or baseline/integration test cases and ensure that results are recorded
- Identifies and documents defects consistently and clearly such that defects can be reproduced by the development team
- Works with development as required to help reproduce issues and to ensure defects are understood and valid
- During QA cycles, performs sanity tests of engineering builds to minimize risk of unexpected quality drop
- Supports QA during QA testing
- Provides documentation as appropriate including inpits for end-user documentation
- Application of Out box Thinking for testing
- Good to have: Certificate on Testing course
- Good Communication skills & Interpersonal Skills
Salary:
- Candidates will undergo a 6 Months Internship during which they will be paid a stipend of 15,000-20,000 Per Month. Based on the performance; candidates would be offered a permanent role within a salary range of 3.5 to 4 LPA.
