Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Software Trainer to join our training or academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training sessions to individuals or groups, focusing on the practical use and implementation of various software applications, tools, and programming environments.
The Software Trainer will prepare learners to be proficient and confident in their software knowledge, enabling them to carry out real-world tasks effectively, whether in a professional, academic, or project-based setting.
This role is perfect for someone who is not only technically sound but also passionate about teaching and has the patience and communication skills necessary to educate and empower learners of various backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery

Conduct instructor-led training (online or in-person) on software tools, programming languages, and applications.

Train students on industry-relevant tools such as MS Office, Tally, Python, Java, SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, .NET, C/C++, or other software based on institutional or client needs.

Customize training approaches depending on the learners' background (beginner, intermediate, or advanced level).

Provide hands-on lab sessions and real-world projects to build learners' confidence and practical understanding.
2. Content Development

Design, develop, and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, exercises, assignments, and quizzes.

Stay updated with the latest software versions, features, and market demand to keep training content relevant.

Collaborate with academic or technical teams to improve curriculum structure and delivery methods.
3. Student/Participant Engagement

Monitor student performance and provide regular feedback, mentorship, and motivation.

Conduct assessments, evaluations, or tests to track learning progress.

Encourage and address doubts, questions, and technical difficulties during sessions.

Adapt teaching styles based on the pace and understanding of students.
4. Administrative & Reporting Duties

Maintain records of student attendance, assignment submissions, assessments, and performance.

Submit periodic reports on training effectiveness, student satisfaction, and improvement areas.

Coordinate with the training or academic head for session scheduling, student onboarding, and course delivery planning.
5. Corporate / Custom Training

Deliver training to corporate clients or working professionals in line with business needs.

Customize training modules for enterprise software such as ERP tools (SAP, Oracle), CRM platforms, or project management systems like Jira, Trello, or MS Project.

Provide post-training support or troubleshooting as part of training deliverables.
