Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, cold calling, online inquiries, local market visits, events, and referrals.

Build a pipeline of prospective customers for rooftop solar, ground-mounted systems, or off-grid solutions.

Conduct site visits to assess roof conditions, shading, and customer energy consumption.
2. Client Consultation and Solution Design:

Engage with customers to understand their energy needs, electricity bills, and budget constraints.

Educate clients about the benefits of solar energy, available government subsidies, and long-term cost savings.

Coordinate with the technical/pre-sales team to design the optimal solar power system based on client requirements.
3. Quotations and Proposal Preparation:

Prepare and present customized quotations, financial models, and ROI analyses for prospective clients.

Explain system specifications, capacity, price breakdowns, warranties, and financing options.

Ensure proposals comply with regulatory, technical, and subsidy standards.
4. Sales Conversion and Negotiation:

Follow up on leads and guide potential customers through the decision-making process.

Handle objections and negotiate prices, terms, and payment schedules within company policies.

Close sales deals and ensure customer satisfaction at every step of the buying process.
5. Post-Sales Coordination:

Coordinate with the operations, engineering, and installation teams for timely execution of solar projects.

Keep clients updated on progress during the installation and commissioning phase.

Ensure smooth handover of the system, final payments, and documentation (warranty, AMC, net-metering, etc.).
6. Market Research and Reporting:

Stay informed about competitor offerings, government policies, and solar energy trends.

Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, quotations, and deals in CRM or sales tracking tools.

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales performance and forecasts to management.
7. Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business, referrals, and brand advocacy.

Address customer queries, concerns, and service requests even after installation.

Participate in customer awareness campaigns, community outreach, and solar awareness programs.
