Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our solar cell manufacturing team. The technician will be responsible for performing precision soldering of solar cells and interconnect ribbons, supporting the assembly of photovoltaic (PV) modules or components.
This role is critical to ensuring high-quality electrical connections and structural integrity in solar panels. The ideal candidate should have good hand-eye coordination, a steady hand, and experience working in cleanroom or ESD-safe environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual soldering of interconnect ribbons and tabbing wires to solar cells using soldering iron or semi-automated systems.

Align and connect solar cells into strings while maintaining proper spacing and alignment.

Operate tabber-stringer machines for automated cell interconnection.

Inspect solder joints and solar cells for microcracks, poor connections, or defects.

Support the lamination team by delivering properly assembled cell strings.
Technical Skills:
Good hand soldering skills with fine components
Familiarity with solar cell tabbing, interconnecting, or busbar soldering
Ability to use tweezers, jigs, and microscopes
Basic understanding of electrical circuits and current flow
