Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Research, source and develop new/alternative suppliers from the Indian/Overseas market for new as well as regular requirements for better lead time price
2. Obtain quotes from different suppliers
3. Draft purchase orders based on procurement requirement
4. Review drafted PO or procurement specifications to ensure procurement requirements are followed
5. Follow up on delivery schedules with suppliers for samples and final order
6. Assess quotes and compile a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns
7. Generate quote comparisons and share them with the concerned authorities for review
Skills:
1. Should be well versed with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
2. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
3. Should be a self-motivated, proactive quick learner who is results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment
