Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sourcing Manager to lead our vendor sourcing and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing long-term supplier relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.
This role requires strong negotiation skills, market intelligence, and an in-depth understanding of sourcing processes. The Sourcing Manager will play a critical role in optimizing procurement costs while maintaining the quality and sustainability of supply chains.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Identification & Evaluation

Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers across local and global markets.

Conduct thorough supplier evaluations, including capability assessments, audits, and compliance checks.

Build and maintain a strong database of approved vendors and strategic partners.
2. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization

Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives.

Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Benchmark supplier pricing and negotiate favorable terms to reduce procurement costs.
3. Vendor Relationship Management

Build and manage long-term relationships with key suppliers.

Resolve issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or payment disputes.

Conduct regular supplier reviews and performance evaluations.
4. Contract Negotiation & Compliance

Lead contract negotiations including price, delivery terms, quality clauses, and payment terms.

Ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and internal company standards.

Monitor contractual obligations and track renewal timelines.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with internal teams such as production, R&D, finance, and logistics to understand sourcing needs.

Support new product development (NPD) by sourcing suitable materials or components.

Ensure timely procurement to meet project deadlines and avoid production delays.
6. Risk Management & Sustainability

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., geopolitical, currency, shortage, and compliance risks).

Promote sustainable sourcing practices aligned with environmental and ethical standards.
