Responsibilities :

Should have good knowledge about development of BTS (Buy to Sell) Products and various RM Commodities like Plastic, Metals, Electronics and electrical and packing from Local and Import supplier.
Should have knowledge about SAP.
Should have good knowledge in terms of BCC ( Best cost country ) based on all custom duties benefits , labor cost and other commodities cost benefits.
Responsible to support the ISC portion of due diligence process for right partner with suppliers & key players.
Responsible for acquisition of New Manufacturing Technologies required by ISC to stay competitive & keep ahead of the competition.
Capacity Planning at supplier end as per our production schedule to meet weekly/monthly/annual material requirement.
Should have capability to negotiate with supplier on stocking agreement/VMI.
Collaborate with Design Engineering teams
Knowledge to calculate should cost based on the specifications of the product/RM.
Should have idea to do BVA analysis ( Make vs. Buy )
Supplier management in terms of various metrics like OTTR/ WALT and PPM.
Management of IOS at our end and at supplier end.
Management for smooth changeover in case of any ECN without any Obsolescence at our end and supplier end.
Fast ramp up of NPI’S and material expedition to deliver end customer requirement on time.
Ready to visit supplier within India and outside.
Good Communication skills to interact with Global suppliers and Internal Honeywell team.
Able to handle supplier grievances and resolution. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
5 - 8 years relevant experience
Must have proven track record of Successful Handling of New Projects
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
Understanding of India market related to HON business i.e. security, fire or building control will be a plus
Willingness to travel up to 25%+
An understanding of the local market opportunities
Having Six Sigma Green Belt; Lean Expert/Black Belt certification will be an added advantage
