Job Summary:
The Spare Parts Incharge is responsible for managing the inventory and storage of automotive spare parts. This includes maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, ensuring the proper handling and storage of parts, and supporting the overall supply chain process to avoid stockouts or excess inventory. The role demands basic analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a sound understanding of inventory management principles.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records of all spare parts.

Monitor stock levels regularly to prevent shortages or overstock situations.

Coordinate with procurement and service departments to forecast demand and replenish stock accordingly.

Ensure proper storage conditions and safe handling of spare parts to prevent damage or loss.

Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile with inventory records.

Manage incoming and outgoing spare parts, verifying quality and quantity.

Use inventory management software or systems to track parts and generate reports.

Resolve discrepancies and investigate causes of stock variances.

Support team members and coordinate with other departments to streamline parts availability.

Maintain a clean, organized, and secure parts storage area.

Language translation skills are a plus to facilitate communication with suppliers or clients.
