Specialists/MIS Specialist recruitment in Town and Country Planning Department, Government of Puducherry

 1.Urban /Town Planning Specialist /1 Post

Qualification:  Post Graduate / Graduate Degree in Urban Planning or Regional Planning or Geography from recognized university.  Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in urban planning with experience of urban Infrastructure projects / affordable housing / slum development projects. Fluency in local language viz., Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam is essential.Only in case of non-availability of candidates with Post Graduate Degree, candidates having Graduate Degree will be considered.

Pay Scale :  Rs. 60,000 for Post Graduate Degree Holders ,Rs. 40,000 for Graduate Degree Holder

2 .Urban Infrastructure Specialist /1Post

Qualification: Post Graduate / Graduate degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized university.  Experience in urban infrastructure and public housing sector, public heath engineering. 3-5 years of experience in designing and managing municipal infrastructure projects. Knowledge of laws and procedures of urban Local Bodies in India.  Fluency in local language viz., Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam essential.  Only in case of non-availability of candidates with Post Graduate Degree, candidates having Graduate Degree failing which Diploma will be considered.

3.Civil Engineering Specialist/1Post

Qualification: Post Graduate / Graduate degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized university.  At least 3 years of experience in procurement, design, and supervision of infrastructure works.  Ability to assist the implementing agencies to set standards and procedures for ensuring quality and monitoring compliances. Prior experience as municipal engineer will be an added advantage.  Fluency in local language viz., Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam essential.  Only in case of non-availability of candidates with Post Graduate Degree, candidates having Graduate Degree failing which Diploma will be considered.

4 .Social Development Specialist /1 Post

Qualification:  Post Graduate / Graduate degree or Diploma in Social Sciences from recognized university, with practical experience of working with community/slums in the urban area.  3-5 years' experience in undertaking social and community development initiatives and appraisals in the municipal environment. Experience in participatory methods, social mobilization, social analysis, resettlement and rehabilitation.  Fluency in local language viz., Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam essential.  Only in case of non-availability of candidates with Post Graduate Degree, candidates having Graduate Degree failing which Diploma will be considered.

5.MIS Specialist /1 Post

Qualification:Post Graduate / Graduate degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Electronics or MCA/PGDCA from recognized university.  3-5 years of work experience in government/semi govt. / autonomous organizations/private company of repute. Experience in software development and database management. Fluency in local language viz., Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam essential.  Only in case of non-availability of candidates with Post Graduate Degree, candidates having Graduate Degree failing which Diploma will be considered.

Pay Scale : Rs. 50,000 for Post Graduate Degree Holders ,Rs. 40,000 for Graduate Degree Holders Rs. 30,000 for Diploma Holders .
