- Good Communications skills
- Sound knowledge of Mainframe infrastructure
- Sound knowledge on Mainframe consoles, HMC, batch, subsystems
- Sound knowledge on tools like CA7,ESP,Control M and OPC
- Sound knowledge on Console monitoring
- Good at MVS commands
- Good at JCL
Skills:
- Monitoring & Maintaining Production LPARS and handling all tape related s
- Performing Scheduled Outages, IPL’s, and Clock Change
- Providing the immediate Fixes and submitting the jobs from CA7,ESP,Control M and OPC
- Handling SRTs (Service Restoration Team) and RCAs (Root Cause Analysis) of abends
- Manage JES spool and diagnose hardware and software problem informing to the support team
- Stopping and Starting DB2/CICS subsystem as per support team specifications during Special activity changes and Upgrading
