Speech /Swallowing Therapist/ICU Technician recruitment in Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute
1. Speech and Swallowing Therapist /1 Post
Qualification: Hold a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and registered with the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board / Council. Experience of working with adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties in an acute hospital setting is desirable.
Pay Scale : Rs.17,790 per month*
2. House Keeping Supervisor /1 Post
Qualification: Graduate with Diploma in Housekeeping / Hotel Management. Preference will be given to the candidate with working experience from reputed Hospitals / hotels
Pay Scale : Rs.17,790
3. ICU Technician /1 Post
Qualification: 10+2 Std. (Science) with some experience in ICU / OT as Technician / Respiratory Therapist / Dialysis Technician in a reputed Institute.
One Year’s Certificate / Diploma course in Electronics OR related subjects will be desirable. Preference will be given to those who have passed 1 year course in OT / ICU / Respiratory Therapist / Dialysis Technician from a reputed Institute.
Pay Scale : Rs.15,180
Candidates with working experience in respective field will be given preference.

Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah (4th September 1893 - 25th September 1956) was a great physician, freedom fighter and philanthropist of Assam. In 1958 at a public meeting in Guwahati, a decision was taken to set up a cancer hospital at Guwahati to commemorate the memory of Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah.
