South Eastern Railway invites application for the position Sports Quota
No of Post: 21 posts (5 posts in GP Rs. 2800/2400, 16 posts in GP Rs.2000/1900).
Pay Band /Scale: PB-1:Rs. 5,200- 20,200/- (6th PC) 7th PC
Educational Qualification:
a) A University Degree or its equivalent.
b) 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent with 80 w.p.m. in shorthand (Hindi/English) for a duration of 10 minutes which will be transcribed in Typing in 65 minutes in English and in 75 minutes in Hindi for the post of Jr. Stenographer (OR) A pass in 1st year of BSC. (Physics) or a pass in 10+2 stage in Higher Secondary in Science (Mathematics & Physics) for the post of Electrical Signal Maintainer II in S&T Deptt.
c) 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination (OR) A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board may also apply to be posted as Tech-Ill, subject to undergo 03 years training period and passed in ITI qualification in the relevant trade, training period will be 06 months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2022. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Copy of Matriculation or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board, OR the Birth Certificate should be submitted for proof of Date of Birth.
Application Fees: For candidates belonging to UR/OBC: Rs. 500/-(Rupees Five hundred only),For candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Ex.Servicemen/Persons its Disabilities(PWDs),Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes: Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two hundred Fifty only)
