Sr ARTISTS / Artist - Production Dept Chennai, India
Roles & Expectation of the Position
• An understanding of print production and proofing (separations, bleeding, pack formats, etc)
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Create detailed technical drawings/die-lines with original artwork taking into branding factors and printing limitations.
• Applying artwork that aligns with the client’s brand guidelines to packaging concepts that will be presented to the client for review and approval
• Should demonstrate an individual’s quality performance of not less than 90% Right First Time (RFT)• Advises internal team/clients on graphic design challenges and technical limitations
• Performs other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications :
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in printing / graphic design / arts or relevant on-the-job experience
• Minimum Two plus years working experience as a graphic designer, ideally within packaging design or consumer products.
• Advanced command of Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Knowledge of Repro is an added advantage..
• Must learn software Esko Plug-ins – built into Illustrator
• Knowledge of print production and an understanding of its limitations
