Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex tasks.
Taking ownership of assigned tasks.
Work with enterprise security device vendors to resolve complex incidents.
Give presentations via training sessions.
Use vendor-provided tools, log files, Verizon provided tools/scripts.
Regular attendance on incident calls, review, and understanding of documented processes, update process documents, provide peer-to-peer training and interaction with high-level Verizon and customer managers.
Change Management participation.
Assist other Tier2 engineers in complex tasks.
Perform monthly checks of device operations.
Create, distribute, analyze, and evaluate network management performance reports.
Create and present a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document when requested.
Participate in the Capacity Management process.
Participate in audit and compliance assessments performed internally.
You’ll Need To Have
What we’re looking for...
Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
One or more years of experience working with Security Products.
Knowledge of Palo Alto, CISCO ASA firewalls.
Knowledge of F5 load balancer LTM/GTM/APM.
Knowledge of Zscaler proxy.
Knowledge of Cisco ISE.
Experience with principles, theories, concepts, and technologies.
ITIL Certification.
Experience working in 24x7 centers with complex.
