Experience in Redhat Linux Administration
➢ Installation & configuration of server OS.
➢ Kickstart configuration
➢ Hands on experience in HP hardware running Linux.
➢ Hardware configuration of BIOS setup, RAID, NIC and ILO setting for fresh new builds
➢ Install, configure and troubleshooting the Storage foundation High Availability (VCS)
➢ Analyzing the system logs after any hardware failure like panic reboot.
➢ User account management - creation, deletion, and Modification.
➢ Experience in Linux networking/Bonding etc.
➢ Disk management using LVM.
➢ File system administration.
➢ LUN and multipathing management
➢ Providing access controls to NFS mounted File systems
➢ FTP and sendmail configuration.
➢ Software installation & up gradation.
➢ Patch Management on Linux
➢ Performance analysis
➢ Job Scheduling and Automating process using cron, at
➢ Device management and Configuration
➢ Backup & Restoration using tar and dump.
➢ Managing various LVM activities LV and VG creation, LV and VG extension using SAN
disks.
➢ Managing cron/scheduled jobs, package install and NTP related issues.
➢ Handling the booting related issues.
