Sr. Technical Assistant/Jr. Technical Assistant job opportunities in Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission
Senior Technical Assistant in Department of Handlooms and Textiles (Code No.1869) /5 Posts
Qualification: (i) Must possess B.Sc Degree in Textile Technology awarded by any University or Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission.
Experience : Nil
(ii) Must possess a First Class Diploma in Textile Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu. (OR)
(iii) Must possess a First Class Diploma Handloom Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu
Experience in Spinning or Weaving Mills or Handloom Organisation for a period of not less than 3 years.
Pay Scale : Rs.36,400 – 1,15,700/-
Junior Technical Assistant: Department of Handlooms and Textiles (Code No.1853)/14 Posts
Qualification: (i) Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification. AND (ii)
Must possess a Diploma in Handloom Technology obtained from the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Salem or Varanasi or from any other recognised Institute of Handloom Technology. (OR)
(iii) Diploma in Textile Manufacture obtained from the Technological Diploma Examination Board, Chennai or the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu.
Note i. The Degree qualification prescribed for the posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the order of studies, viz., SSLC+ HSC or its equivalent + UG Degree and Diploma qualification must have been obtained after passing SSLC or HSC from the recognised Institutions as required under Section 25 of Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. (Results of the examination should have been declared on or before the date of this Notification)
Pay Scale : Rs.Rs.35,400 – 1,12,400
Registration Fee,Examination Fee : For One-Time Registration : Rs.150 is payable online through Net banking / Credit card / Debit card or it can be paid offline at SBI / Indian Bank within 2 days from the date of submission of online application, by choosing the option in the online application.
AGE LIMIT (As on 01.07.2019) :30 years (Should not have completed as on 01.07.2019)
Selection Procedure: Written Examination / Certificate Verification / Oral Test.
