SRF Agriculture / Computer Assistant Job vacancies in Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-CCARI) purely on temporary basis
Name of the Project : RKVY funded project entitled for “Develop ment of Comprehe nsive eagriculture portal for information and knowledge sharing in Goa.

Qualification : M.Sc. in any branch of Agriculture and other allied sciences or M.Sc. plant sciences including basic sciences. Basic knowledge of computer applications including data base creation and management in agriculture, design and uploading of photos/videos related to agriculture.. Eligibility:- Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
Desirable : Experience in management of plant genetic resources, crop production, interest in making documentation on agriculture scenario in Goa including success stories, preparation of status report on general agriculture.
Emoluments : Rs.25,000/-
Age : 35 years for men 40 years for women (relaxable as per rules)
Computer Assistant
No. of Post : 01
Qualification : B.Sc. or BCA in computer science including related IT post graduation. Experience in Web designing, Photoshop, Dream Weaver, Flash, Java Script, PHP, Professional Typing Skill
Desirable : Experience in design and management web pages, Creation of data base, Uploading of content in web page, confirguration and maintenance of server for web page hoisting and maintenance , interest in making documentation on agriculture scenario in Goa including success stories , preparation of status report on general agriculture.
Emoluments : Rs.16,000/-
Age : 35 years for men 40 years for women

About Company
ICAR - Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute is
one of the research institutes established under Indian Council of
Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. ICAR is an autonomous
organization under Department of Agricultural Research and Education
(DARE), Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. ICAR Research
Complex for Goa was established in April, 1976 as a regional centre
under ICAR Research Complex for Northeast Hill region, Shillong,
Meghalaya. Subsequently it became the regional centre, ICAR Research
Complex for Goa, under CPCRI, Kasargod. Considering the importance of
agriculture in Goa state, ICAR, New Delhi, upgraded the centre into an
Independent Institute from April, 1989. Subsequently, this Institute has
been upgraded from 1st April, 2014 as a ICAR-Central Coastal
Agricultural Research Institute. This Institute is under the Natural
Resource Management (NRM) division of ICAR.
