Job Description

SRF Agriculture job Position in National Rice Research Institute (NRRI) on temporary basis

Project: “National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture”

Qualification: Masters in Agriculture / Agriculture Engineering / Horticulture / Agro-metrology / Veterinary Sc. / Fishery Sc. / MCA or allied fields.

Desirable: Working knowledge of computer and experience of coordination work in research project and knowledge on weather and its impact are desirable

Pay Scale : Rs. 25,000/- + HRA @ 10% for 1st & 2nd year (As per rule) and Rs. 28000 + HRA @ 10% for 3rd year per month (As per rule)

Maximum age as on 1.7.2018 :35 years for Men and 40 years for Women

Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) is one of the Institutes of the ICAR under the Division of Crop Sciences. The Institute has two research stations- Central Rainfed Upland Rice Research Station (CRURRS), Hazaribagh, in Jharkhand, and the Regional Rainfed Lowland Rice Research Station (RRLRRS), Gerua, in Assam. These research stations were established to tackle the problems of rainfed uplands, and flood prone rainfed lowlands, respectively.
