SRF Agriculture Job recruitment in Punjab Agricultural University on contract basis
Scheme: “Setting-up of Integrated Bee-keeping Development Centre (IBDC) /Centre of Excellence (COE) at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, CSS-87 (PC 6222)”
Qualifications for one post (S. No. 1) : B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Agric.) with minimum OGPA of 2.00/4.00 Basis or OCPA 5.00/10.00 basis or 50% marks. M.Sc. in Entomology / Zoology with specialization in Entomology with OGPA of 3.40 / 4.00 basis or OCPA 6.50 / 10.00 basis or 65% Marks.
Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidates having qualification of Ph.D. and with experience in Apiculture.
Qualifications for second post (S. No. 2) : B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Agric.) with minimum OGPA of 2.00/4.00 basis or OCPA 5.00/10.00 basis or 50% marks. M.Sc. in Microbiology / Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology with OGPA of 3.40 / 4.00 basis or OCPA 6.50 / 10.00 basis or 65% marks.Candidates having Ph.D. in Microbiology / Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology but M.Sc. in other subjects will also be considered .
Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Microbiological and Molecular/ Biotechnological techniques for the diagnosis/ identification of microorganisms.
Pay Scale : Rs 25,000/- per month (fixed) + HRA @ 20% for an initial period of six months from the date on which the incumbent joins or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
Applications Fee: Rs 200/- in the shape of bank draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M.
The amount of first full month of fellowship payable to the RF/SRF will be kept as Security with the Head, Department of Entomology and it will be paid to him/her as and when he/she leaves the fellowship after giving the requisite one month’s notice or deposits the amount of one month’s fellowship. The Research Fellows resigning the fellowship shall have to give one month notice or have to deposit one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
