Essential: 1. The candidate must have Master’s degree in relevant subject (Agronomy / Horticulture / Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry / Plant Breeding and Genetics / Chemistry / Botany) from a recognised University 2. The candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Eligibility criteria (SRF) 1. Qualification prescribed for JRF 2. Two years of research experience
Notification for engagement of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Junior Research Fellow
(JRF) under NMPB funded project
Applications are invited for the engagement of Senior Research Fellow and Junior
Research Fellow under the NMPB project entitled “Genetic stock development,
standardization of good agricultural practices (GAPs) and market analysis of
Pseudarthria viscida (L.) - a red listed high volume trade medicinal plant”

Age Limit: Below 35 years as on last date of application. Age relaxation will be given as per
the Govt. of India norms.
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- (JRF) and Rs. 28,000/- (SRF). Revised emoluments of Rs. 31,000/-
(JRF) and Rs. 35,000/- (SRF) will be provided as and when released from the funding agency.
