Project Title  :  “Genome data mining to unravel molecular basis of thermotolerance and adaptation to diverse environments in native cattle and buffaloes'

Qualification  :  Master degree in Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Genetics/ Animal Breeding/ Bioinformatics/ Computer Science/Data Science/ Statistics/ Life Science with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.

Desirable :    Working knowledge of big data, expertise in running R and Python, knowledge of linux operating system, experience in handling NGS data related to whole genome/transcriptome/SNP data.

Emoluments :   Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA for 1st year and 2 nd year.

Age Limit :  35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of interview. (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per GOI/ICAR rules)
