SRF/ Attendant / Project Assistant recruitment in Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.
Senior Research Fellow /No of vacancies One
Essential Qualification: M.Sc (Life sciences) MA Social sciences/ Master’s in Social work (MSW) degree holders with two years’ experience (or) M.B.B.S / B.D.S/M.V.Sc, / M.Pharm/ M.E/M.tech degree holders with NET qualification.
Desirable Post Graduate in Veterinary Science with adequate clinical skills in canine blood collection 5 Nature of duties Canine donor evaluation and blood collection blood component extraction and lab investigations.
Age Upper age limit 35 * years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR guidelines.
Consolidated salary Rs. 35,000 with 24% HRA @ Rs 8,400 /- per month

Essential Qualification : Graduate in Science/ relevant subjects/from recognized university/ with three years of work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in the relevant subject
Desirable Experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
Nature of duties Laboratory work including cell separation, lyophilization and viability studies.
Consolidated salary Rs. 31,000 /- per month

Essential Qualification: DMLT technician with work experience in a blood bank/ biochemical/ microbiology laboratory
Desirable Skills and experience in blood banking & Nucleic Acid Testing.
Nature of duties Blood collection and component separation from human voluntary donors and lab investigations.
Age Upper age limit 25 *years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR guidelines.
Consolidated salary Rs. 16,000 /- per month

The seed for the establishment and growth of TANUVAS was sown as early as 1876, when the Madras Veterinary College was started as an Agricultural School in Chennai to offer diploma and certificate course in the field of veterinary and animal sciences. The institute attained the status of a college in the year 1903 (01.10.1903), when it started functioning at Dobbin Hall, Chennai and admitted 20 students for a three-year diploma course called GMVC (Graduate of Madras Veterinary College).
